Bacon in the oven...
Does anyone know how long to cook bacon in the oven for and on what temp?
Do I have to turn it? Or do I just leave it alone to cook through...
Thanks!

Re: Bacon in the oven...
I don't know the details, but someone told me to do it on a broiler pan so the grease drips through. Makes sense, but just wanted to share just in case.

Re: Bacon in the oven...
You do not need to turn it at all. Definitely use a baking sheet that has a "lip" to keep the grease from dripping
We usually put the oven at aboput 375 and cook about 15 minutes...we do not like it crispy...just keep an eye on it becuae ti can be half cooked and then all of a sudden, its crispy! Keep in mind also, when you take it outof the oven and leave the bacon in the pan, it still cooks a little in the grease/
We LOVE it in the oven-its the only way in my opinion

Re: Bacon in the oven...
Thanks Holly... I tried it before reading your reply and next time I will put the oven on 375...this time I had the oven on 400 and some of the bacon was burning after like 10 minutes...while others weren't fully cooked yet.

Re: Bacon in the oven...
I usually do 400 for 15 mins (I like it crispy) and I cook the bacon on baking paper in a cookie sheet. If you oven heats unevenly then you should turn the pan halfway thru the cooking time.
