Bad first day back
I literally feel like it's my 1st year all over again.
I'm split between two rooms which is a major PITA. I also have lunch duty for the first time since that 1st year which I am just dreading. I hate my schedule and am already wondering how I will make it to June.
Today was just meetings, tomorrow the kids come in. I am just  for good classes to get me through the year.
Sorry for the pity post, but I usally love going back to school and today was just so rough
ETA it's times like this when I wish I could post a FB status about how I really feel, but have too many coworkers as friends

Oh, Sam... I'm sorry. My feet are absolutely aching today, and I'm all over the world in the three consecutive periods I teach (literally -- three different rooms and the middle one is upstairs), but it wasn't so bad because of the kids. Tomorrow will be better. I promise. You know that once you see them again, you start to remember why you're doing this. (And I have cafeteria duty, too, if it makes you feel any better... we continue to be twins.  )
One more day! You can do it!

I didn't get the best schedule...but let's all keep it positive! I agree with the previous poster - once the kids come its going to be GREAT!
I'm really excited about this year. And I'm really be excited to be back amongst caring, dedicated colleagues! Despite the annoyances from today, I'm trying to see the big picture.
