Bad foods?
Foods like gummy bears, cookie dough ice cream, mac and cheese, starbursts, doritos..the list goes on and an...(however these are all things i've had recently)...Do you think they can harm the little one in any way? I mean with all the chemicals and artificial ingredients? Lately i feel extra guilty when i eat this crap...someone tell me is OK!!!! I ate much better with pregnancy no. 1.

I think everything in moderation is fine. As long as its not what you are eating all day long, every day.
I felt like I was eating like crap in the beginning and am really trying to up my healthy snacks and limit my ice cream and cookies, etc
But as I said, I think as long as its not all the time, it is fine.

I agree. Everything in moderation. I also feel that if there are certain foods that are not agreeing with you, eat what you can just to get food in.

I questioned the same thing as you because I was going through that... Pre-pregnancy I was a very healthy eater... But when I got hit with MS I didnt want and couldnt eat ANY of the healthy stuff I normally like! LIke salads or beets or grilled balsamic chicken. Everything made me sick...
Its insane and I was sooo worried I was going to harm the baby with not getting the right nutrients... I even spoke with my OB about it... She said do things in moderation and remember that throughout the entire pregnancy Im going to go through many food phases so its ok to give into those cravings... She said the baby will get all the nutrients they need just make sure to take the prenatal vitamin every single day and drink tons of water. THATS the most important thing. So I make sure tha I eat at least 1 piece of fruit a day and I ALWAYS take my prenatal vitamins...
The only thing I worry about with eating too much of those sugary sweet stuff is GD... So I try to cut back on all of that and I only allow myself a limited amount daily... So if I have cookies I will have like 2-4 cookies but with a big glass of milk and thats it for the day... I wont have sweets afterlunch, sweets after dinner and before bed ya know?
I craved and continue to crave carbs! OMG I am obsessed with bagels, english muffins and bread LOL but all whole wheat so its not that bad!
