BAD headache with period
Hi ladies. Last week when AF was in town, I got the worst headache. I normally get headaches with AF but it seems like they are getting worse as I get older.
Anyone else experience this? I read that it sometimes helps to start taking advil a few days before AF comes. Any other suggestions? I don't want every month to be this bad going forward. Thanks.

most likely a menstrual migraine. for me advil a few days before always helped. some months though nothing did. some drs believe in otc magnesium for headaches but ask your doc feel better!

I get headaches, a backache and cramps. I take tylenol a few days before if I can't stand the cramps. But it never prevented a migraine from coming on.
