bakery rec in island park/oceanside/rockville centre ?
I need to order 1/2 sheet cake for a special occasion. i would like to order ..strawberry shortcake type..fresh strawberries and real whipped cream.. also, if they could reproduce some of the design from an invitation onto the cake
...which bakery would you recommend ?

Whistle Stop Bake Shop on Lawson Blvd in Oceanside
Front Street Bakery in Rockville Centre
Malverne Bakery on Hempstead Avenue in Malverne.

I love Front Street in RVC. My mom always picks up a strawberry shortcake (fresh strawberries, no jelly/preserves) from there for my birthday. 
My other favorites from there are crumb cake and a round yellow cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate chips. Yum!
