banged belly into bathroom sink
Sooo, I banged my belly into the bathroom sink pretty hard at around 5:00, just as I was leaving for my 5;30 OB appt.
I'm 39 weeks, had an ultrasound, saw heartbeat, and had an internal. Everything is fine (except for the fact that I'm going to be preggo forever - not dilated at all). I forgot to mention that I banged my belly into the sink.
should I call now? I feel stupid. I mean if I called, wouldn't they do everything they just did to see if she was OK?
But on the other hand, I'm killing myself for not telling the dr. that I banged my belly. It was hard and it did hurt.

I honestly think your baby is fine...is your baby moving around??? if so I dont think you should be concerned...
as you said they checked hb and did sono..your FINE

she's moving around, and was during sono and had strong heartbeat. I'm just kicking myself for not mentioning it to the dr. when I was there. I kind of want to call, but kind of feel like a moron to call as well.... I don't want to be that crazy lady who calls over every little thing.

Trust me i am sure they will not think you are crazy,,if you want to call ,,CALL just so you can relax...simply say I was there not to long ago and forgot to mention to the dr that i hit my stomach etc.
dont feel bad about calling at all

I called at 8:30 and no call back 
Now I feel stupid about calling, I know I'm fine, but what if this really was an emergency? That's really bad that they are taking so long to call back. And I'll be so upset if they call back at 10:00 and tell me to go to L & D - when I'm sure I'm fine.
Why do we get so crazy while preggo?

i dont call it crazy i call it "extra cautious"
you are almost there momma and then the real worrying will begin (this is what my sister, mother of two reminds me of everyday god love her

Update - he did call back at around 10:00, and told me that I was putting him in a difficult situation because the only way we can be totally sure everything was fine was if I went in and got monitored. He said that the odds of anything being wrong were slim, and that since I was feeling movement, I should only go in if I felt cramping or had spotting. Well, my paranoid head felt cramping, so we went. 3 hours later, all is fine. I just feel bad for DH because we got back at 2:30 and he has to be up at 6:30.
Thanks for listening ladies. I don't know what I'd do without this site!
