HOLY SH*T!
that is just crazy!!
Never again!
I always have to hit an ATM and since Im part of a union.......I get slammed at every bank but whoa that is just ridiculous!!

I was just there too making a depo into my BOA account and I had to withdraw funds from my other bank's account and could not believe it. That's nuts!

At my old job, the ATM was outside of my office and you would hear..
"OMG! $2.95 fee!"
(swipe)
Me: 
I would always tell them that if they walked down the block to the WaMu it was free...nope.. swiped away!

Everywhere seems to be $3.00 now. I usually use the ATM in Waldbaums its $1.95 fee.

Yeah i never understood why people don't just use the bank they belong to.
If you belong to a credit union, open a second account with a major bank and keep some money in there.

I was just going to add that
I needed cash and DH had my car- so my option was to walk to chase- Citi, my bank is too far
I was shocked at the fee!

Same here...There are 7-11's on just about every corner.
We also belong to Roslyn, so, if I need to use ATM I just go there.

There is a Chase Bank just outside the Wall Street station - $3 bucks - I walked to Hanover and used my own bank - It's ridiculous!

I bet the fees are going up becuase they're finally losing $$ from their cr@p mortgages every bank so heavily invested in...
those greedy b@stards! They get 'free money' from questionable investments and the customers never benefit..... but the second they lose......

all CC fees are going up, Commerce does the same thing if you are not a customer and has for awhile...
these banks are crazy. This is why I use my debit card all the time instead of cash.

As many pp said, I hate Bank of America.
They removed my paycheck from my checking because they had lost the check in route to where they organize checks. When I saw the money missing I thought it was fraud. BOA put a hold on my account but the moron on the phone actually closed my account therefore making my catering hall check as well as my credit card check bounce since I had "no" checking account.

Yeah, BOA is the closet bank to my house and we refuse to use it now.
I usually actually go to CVS and buy a pack of gum and get $20 back, at least I get something for my $1.49 then
