I couldn't believe that when i heard it on the news this morning! It would just force me to use cash more; or my CC and make sure to pay the balance off each month.

Unfortunately I use my debit card for everything. I will be shopping for a new bank but I did see a clip on the news scroll that Chase and another bank is also charging a fee.

Does this apply to "bank at work" customers (People who get BoA accounts with direct deposit from a company that's linked to BoA. You have lower minimums and fees)?

It says "basic accounts" and mentioned it is for accounts that already get hit with fees. BoA might be one of the first, but expect all others to follow.
