Bankruptcy Question...
Has anyone filed for Bankruptcy?
If so, can you recommend your lawyer for me?
A friend of mine is seriously thinking bankruptcy, but isn't sure how to go about it.
Preferably Western Suffolk or Nassau.
Feel free to FM me if you are more comfortable.

I don't have a name of a bankruptcy attorney, but I would reccomend having your friend call either the Nassau County Bar Association or the Suffolk County Bar Association. They will be able to give her a few names of bankruptcy attorneys. HTH!

Macco is also a BK Trustee and he has been known to refer clients to our office.  He's a nice guy but a real hot head in Court (as a trustee at least).
I work for a BK lawyer and we do thousands upon thousands of cases a year. If you want the number, FM me.

My good friend just did this after her divorce, she was able to get it done at a reduced fee through the bar association.
