Re: Baptism party question...
We got a frame with a blue cross on it. In our Thank yous we sent a picture of him in his gown. The frames cost us 99 cents each and are cute. FM me if you want some info.

Re: Baptism party question...
save your money - no need for favors.
If you want make a donation to a charity instead of favors. Something personal of to a kids charity like St Jude.

We are having chocolate crosses made up with the girls name and the date, keeping it very simple.

Re: Baptism party question...
We aren't doing favors. We are having a casual back yard party and I thought favors would be a little much..JMO

Re: Baptism party question...
I did chocolate lollipop crosses that were displayed in a decorated clay pot so they served as the centerpieces as well.

We did small jar yankee candles wrapped in pink tulle with a card attached that had the "light a candle in DDs name" poem with it.

Re: Baptism party question...
We did picture magnets for both Christenings. This time I got them at VistaPrint. If you go through ebates its half price and you get 8 or 10% bak(I forgot which!)
I love going to people's houses and seeing the pics hanging on their fridge! Definitely not a favor they throw away!

I filled plastic hearts with m&ms and wrapped with tool and ribbon, and also made chocolate lollipops.

Re: Baptism party question...
No favors here either, IMO they are a waste and unnecessary for a Christening.

Re: Baptism party question...
We did favors. We had the christening in December and we did a winter theme. We gave blue coasters with snowflakes on them and in the center there was space for a photo so we put one of our DS with his name and the christening date. They were actually by Kate Aspen. She actually makes a lot of favors and many of them are pretty affordable.

Re: Baptism party question...
I had DD's picture taken in her Christening gown and gave everyone a wallet size in frames I got from wrapwithus.com in syosset for $0.99.
I gave the Godparents the same pic in 3x5 Godmother/Godfather frames ordered from personalcreations.com
I had the pics taken in Kiddie Kandids. They give you your order the same day

I'm having cookie baskets made with crosses with DD's name on them. I'm also using them as table centerpieces.
Something like this, but with just crosses. Image Attachment(s):
