bare minerals color question..
I am not sure if I should get light, or medium. It says to go medium if you burn before you tan, which is what I do....but I still feel that my skin is light (not white, but light). Any suggestions? Thanks!
Here are some pics....they are TERRIBLE...I have no makeup on, and my hair is not done, but I guess thats good for something like this!!

Re: bare minerals color question..
I'd go with medium, I see some reds n your face, the light is VERY light, you can always buy it @ Sephora and if you don;t like it they will take it back, good luck

Re: bare minerals color question..
I didn't see you pic, but I am fair skinned, and use the fairly light color, which is darker than light, but less yellow than medium.

Re: bare minerals color question..
In the winter I use Fairly light.
I'm someone who burns first then it turns tan, but my skin is very fair.

Re: bare minerals color question..
Are you talking about the kit, or the individual foundation?
The kits usually come with 2 foundation colors.
Did you go to the bare Minerals site ? The "select your shade" link is pretty helpful.
The colors go:
Fair-Porcelin skin-neutral undertones Fairly light--porcelin to light skin with golden undertones Light--light skin with goldedn undertones
Fair & & Fairly Light come in the Fair kit. That's the palest one.
Fairly light & Light are reccomend for people who burn, rather than tan. These come in the "Light" kit.
Medium-Medium skin neutral undertones Medium Beige-Medium skin golden undertones.
These come in the "Medium" kit & are reccomended for people who tan, rather than burn.
If you aren't ordering directly from them, see what shades come in the kit.
I didn't see your pics, but you are probably a light if you burn.
I am very pale (the lightest & or 2nd lightest color in most foundation lines) & the light was too yellow for me. I have used fair & fairly light.
Also, on Sephora--you can see the sample woman for each shade. shade finder
