Bare Minerals Question......what color do you get?
I would like to try the starter kit and was going to order it online.
I usually wear medium makeup, is the medium BE a true medium?
Also, how is the coverage? It's all powder right? Has anyone switched from a traditional foundation to this and found it has less coverage?

I am fairly light. It is the lighter of the 2 colours in the light kit. When I was getting traditional foundation I would get porcelain.
For the first few weeks I was overapplying b/c I could not believe how little of the product I needed to get coverage. The key is to use the concealer brush for things like dark circles & spots. Then when you go over with the "buki brush" it smooths it all out with very little effort.
I love the coverage & love that it is so light.

I use their medium and I think it's a pretty true medium. Their coverage is adjustable depending on what brush you use and how much you use. I will never go back to liquid ever again!

I also use the fairly light, but the darker of the two. I'm pretty pale, but not quite porcelain. I love the coverage!!
I think the medium beige is the next kit up.

nevermind, I saw there are 2 colors....
I use the fairly light kit & use the lighter of the 2 in the kit. I usually send back the unopened dark one & trade them for the lighter shade

I send it back to the address that the order comes from. (as if it were a return).
I only had to order 3 kits so far & I think this time I will just order the individual pots rather than the whole kit. I have a TON of warm/glee left over & go through the mineral veil like crazy.

I was doing just the powder, with a little stick foundation under it to cover up some of y problem areas. It was too much. Now, I use a tinted moisturizer as my daily moisturizer, then the powders on top. I have light skin and use the light powder, so I would say it's true to the shade name.

the colors are pretty dead on. in the store, they will tell you for sure which one you need! it's worth the drive to roosevelt field to get the free makeover and see how you like it!
