barn wedding venue help
My friend is looking to have a barn weddiNg in ny or conn.. does anyone know of a venue?

Benner's Farm in Setauket does weddings...I'm pretty sure you have to have the food brought in from another place though.

Queens county farm in little neck. Bfs cousin had her wedding there. Heard great things. I've seen the space and it's really cool.

My daughter got married here. Great place. Everyone loved it.

Apple Barn Farm in Germantown NY does amazing weddings. It was my dream location.
There's also Perona Farm in jersey, Barns of NipMoose, Shadow Lawn (also VERY beautiful) in High Falls NY, The Barn at Vineyard's Edge in Mattituck. Jonathan Edwards Vineyard in Stonington CT is also a beautiful barn-like building. The Pruyn House in the Saratoga area.
Another one that is STUNNING is the Crossed Keys Inn if she's willing to go to NJ. It's literally just a breathtaking venue.

Isn't it? It was out of our price range when all was said and done with rentals and catering, but MY GOD...I still swoon when I see pictures of other weddings there.

We had our wedding at Martha Clara Vineyards not for the vineyards but for thier barn. It is beautiful and had indoor bathrooms which after doing some research into other places on LI most did not.
You do have to bring in everything- tables, chairs, caterers, alcohol but it was worth it.

Dh's college roommate got married here years ago and it was nice. I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding tgere in August. The on-site caterer seems fantastic; we're having Tennessee bbq for dinner.
