Basement carpet?
What color carpeting is in your basement? We're looking to replace the carpet. I don't want something too dark that would make the room appear darker and I don't want something too light either since I'm looking to make the space my daughters playdoom/game room. I don't want anything girly either since l'll use some of the space for entertaining. So I'm just curious what color carpet you have in your basement? I'm clueless with where to start and what I want!

This is ours it was here when we bought the house. Hides stains very well which is good with kids

I have something very similar in my basement (it was also there when we bought the house, so it's not what I chose). I like it - I use the basement as a playroom for my son, so I find it very functional.

Ditto! It's a playroom and gym so it works fine. Only issue I don't like is there's a bathroom in the basement and they put the carpet in there too so DH is going to redo it and we will rip out the carpet and put a tile floor down for the bathroom.
