Bath questions
How do you dry your child's hair?
What kind of brush do you use, especaially girls.
What shampoo do you use? I was using j&j detangler shampoo and and now switched to Burt's bees but it doesn't get out all the knots. Dd has been freaking when I brush it no matter what.

Re: Bath questions
It dries naturally..bec we watch one show in mommys bed before bed time and then she gets a book read in her bed..after all this her hair is completely dry!
I use a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner I think the brand is suave..smells like coconuts! HAHAAHA!
She still always has knots but it is not bad when I switched to the 2 in 1 instead of the all over body wash
I use those paddle brushes...she complains about those the least! HAHA!

Re: Bath questions
Thank you. We have been doing baths earlier to let it dry. I try to towel dry it but she hates that. It takes forever just like my hair.
I will have to look for a different brush. I am using the baby combs now Shws 18 mths

Re: Bath questions
California Baby shampoo and conditioner. I comb it and either air dry, or blow dry if it's really cold.

Re: Bath questions
Def get a nice paddle brush with a comfy grip. I have long fine hair (and a ton of it) that gets knotty very easily and I only use a paddle brush. Use a ton of conditioner and start to brush it out while that's in. Then gently rinse and continue to use the brush. Then spray is with detangler, and brush. Blowdry and make a loose braid to keep it neat while she sleeps.
My cousin (5 yrs old) was having hair issues and I instructed my aunt to do this and it worked out great! Now she has pretty, soft, manageable hair instead of a rats nest.
