Bath time question
How did you bath your newborn? Sink, tub or did you use a baby bath that sits on the counter? I am really trying to avoid the bathtub bc I have a horrible back.
TIA

Re: Bath time question
I did the baby tub on the counter. It was often really quick b/c DD hated the bath for a while.

Re: Bath time question
when my ds was first born we used just wet clothes on his changing pad.
I think a week or two later we used the safer bather cushion.
We tried the sling in the bathtub but he was too big for it after a month so then we just used the tub in the sink

Re: Bath time question
Our kitchen sink is too small, and the counters too cluttered, so we used a baby tub in the bath tub.

Re: Bath time question
I used the baby bath sitting inside the kitchen sink...well actually sits right on top of the sink.
When they outgrew that, I moved them directly into the sink. When DD#1 was ready to move into the big bathtub, I was pregnant with #2 and there was no way I was bending over the tub, so yeah...she took a bath in the kitchen sink until she was just about 2!!

Re: Bath time question
I use the First Years Newborn to Toddler bathtub and I always had it in the bathroom on top of the sink. The house was a little cool IMO so I would close the door behind us and bathe her that way.
Since it's getting warmer out now, I vary between on top of the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink.

Re: Bath time question
We put the baby bathtub in the kitchen sink. I wasn't comfortable bathing him in the sink before he could sit up and now that he can, i am too lazy to clean it well enough to bathe him in it. We also did more of a bath with wet cloths and then poured water over him.
DS is now 5 months and I just recently started putting the baby bathtub in the regular tub and he sits in the water. I sit on the corner of the tub, against the wall with one foot in the tub and one foot outside. This seems to be the easiest on my back.
