Bathtub Question

When did you stop putting DC in the tub without anything?

Re: Bathtub Question

I'd say probably about a month and a half ago. Around 13 months.

My DD throws these tantrums at random sometimes and is very unpredictable. My biggest fear was her flinging herself backwards like she likes to do and smacking her head on the tub.

Thanks! DS is 11 months old and sitting in the one he puts his legs through, but on the seat it said to stop using once they pull themselves up to stand Chat Icon
That's the reason he's in the seat! He's all over and sits great in the seat. Just checking
Thanks! Chat Icon

Re: Bathtub Question

I tried for three days to put DD in the tub without the infant seat. She screamed bloody murder and was clawing to get out. One, I think she was cold because in her infant tub she is much more surrounded by water and two, she was overwhelmed. Sooo, back to the infant tub we went for now.

Re: Bathtub Question

I still use the seat at 13 months when I give him a bath at home. My mom doesn't use a seat and if I take him in the shower with me, we don't use it.

Re: Bathtub Question

when he started sitting on his own!!!!

I give a bath to my 2.5 yr old and him (15 mo old) together and the tub inside the tub was very crowded...

so he was free to do as he wanted early on so he gave more room to his sister...prob 7-8 mo old
