Bay window treatment ideas
I'm having a really hard time with deciding on how to cover these windows
During the day I like them wide open to let the sun in but at night, you can see right in our LR as we are at the end of a street.
I'm open to any ideas Image Attachment(s):

Re: Bay window treatment ideas
Im looking for ideas also, thanks for posting this.
to share my idea and to respond to your post, I really like the rods with the rings, have you seen them ?
here's a visual of what I mean ROD W RINGS
this way you can easily swish it back and forth. there are many designs to choose from.
or if you plan to have 2 different curtains (I have this in my DR) like a sheer in the back and a darker curain in front, you can try this type of rod
DOUBLE ROD
now as far as blinds/shades, there are SOO many to choose from, and I feel like it's more of a long term decision, depending on how and where youre drilling holes.. Im not crazy about verticals . I love having my windows open, so the verticals constantly hit against eachother with wind.. I like roman shades.. but not sure either..
Im going to start with just the rod/rings, and see if I can get away with no blinds/shades..
hope that helps !

Re: Bay window treatment ideas
Thanks for the ideas....as for the rods with curtains idea....where would you put the rods?
Across the whole window? Individually on each pane?
Also- How much were those blinds?

Re: Bay window treatment ideas
I am curious to see what other have. I have also wondering what to do with two bay windows I have. All the examples here so far look good. I guess it's just a matter of pref. I'm really liking the double rod. Good luck. Let us know what you choose.

Re: Bay window treatment ideas
I have a bow window, not a bay, but close enough!
This is what the previous owners did. I actually just ordered curtains. I am getting a pole mounted kingston valance with panels and I am keeping the shades that they left for now.
The Calico Corners website has some nice ideas.
