BBQ Chicken Pizza - Easy Recipe
I saw Sandra Lee make a bbq chicken pizza and decided to make something similar. It was so easy and really simple so I thought I would share!
Pre-made pizza crust - I used Boboli
BBQ Sauce (I used Jack Daniels honey-bbq)
1 small granny smith apple
2 -3 thin chicken breasts
4 slices of bacon
First, I grilled the chicken with a little poultry seasoning on a grill pan. While chicken was grilling, I cooked 4 pieces of bacon. Then I sliced the granny smith apples into paper thin slices - I think very thin slices work the best. Spread a thin layer of bbq sauce on the pizza crust and then layer sliced grilled chicken, crumbled bacon, and slices of apples. I topped it off with mozzarella cheese and baked it at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
