bday party menu help
DD's bday party is coming up. She will be 2 and we are having it in our back yard. Her little friends will come over to play, so it is more a kid party than adults. No family really at this party.
I need help with the food. I am going to have juice boxes and water for the kids, and mini cupcakes for dessert. But it will be lunch time, so I need to figure out what to serve. Should I just order pizzas so the parents will be happy too? Or should I do something for the parents and something for the kiddies?

Re: bday party menu help
I was at a child's birthday party recently and they served pizza for lunch. It was perfect and made everyone happy. Maybe you could have some chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese on the side just in case any of the kids don't like pizza.... If you need me to bring anything let me know!

Re: bday party menu help
We were just at a kid party over the weekend and pizza was perfect. Everyone ate it. Another party I was at 2 weeks ago was the same thing. It seemed to please everyone. At both parties they got cheese for the kids and some other kinds for the adults (the sausage one and the veggie one was most popular with the adults.)

Re: bday party menu help
I think the Pizza is a great idea, but I would have some alternative in case any kids (like my DD) don't like pizza....
