this morning's news is that my grandmother in the dominican republic (my last living grandparent - 95) fell and "broke bones."

my sister had called my mother to give her the news about our step-grandmother and was informed of the fall. but she couldn't tell me how she fell or what was broken just that she's fallen and has broken bones (plural).

i'll be calling my grandmother during my break to get details.

it's been a tough week.

please pray that my grandmother makes a full recovery and is back at bossing people around very quickly. i will literally fall apart the day that woman is no longer on this planet. she means the world to me.

I am praying for her healing. I know that it's difficult for them at that age, but she sounds like a tough lady who will be bossing everyone around soon enough!
