bee sting question
I got stung by a bee on my finger over 24 hours ago...and it still hurts!!
It is less swollen than yesterday - but it is still swollen and itchy...has anyone had an experience like this?
I really dont feel like going to the dr...so should I wait a little longer and see if it feels better?

Re: bee sting question
DH got stung by a bee about a month or so ago...spray windex on it. NOT JOKING! the ammonia will help to reduce the pain. also the doctor made him take benedryl or allegra to "suck the poison out". in the meantime, continue to ice it nonstop.
feel better!

Re: bee sting question
If you're worried about allergic reactions or anything, that would have happened right away, so you're okay. I agree that ice is the way to go, and people on the boards have definitely been having success with Windex lately for all sorts of wacky things, so I agree to give that a try too!
Feel better soon.

Re: bee sting question
Im not concerned about an allergy as much as an infection. THere is a SMALL part of the stinger still in there that I can't get out - my finger swelled too quickly.
