Beef Brisket...easy recipe ??

So I took out a brisket, and usually put it in the crock-pot but don't think I have time to cook it in there today ( its still not completely defrosted)

Any easy recipes that hopefully only require what I already have in my cabinets? Chat Icon

Thanks!

i brown each side in a big pot, add lipton onion soup mix, beef stock, water and tomato paste.

Let it cook keeping adding liquid until tender.

About 2-3 ours total.

Re: Beef Brisket...easy recipe ??

keep the heat on medium for the most part.

Also keeping the liquid covering the meat is key. Alternate between stock and water.

After a while I take it out, slice it and put it back in the pot. Sometimes I throw in carrots and cook them into the gravy.

It's simple but the meat is tender and very little fussing. If you want it more tomatoey add a can of tomato sauce.

good for you. Either way it's a fatty piece of meat seasoned right and cooked until tender..all delicious.
