I have Time Warner, phone, internet and cable. We have all the movie channels and whole house DVR. With taxes $205 a month.

This is our 3rd year with them and I negotiate every year with the price for new promo. It's a pain, but we save money

I have cablevision. I have phone, Internet and cable and all the movie channels and HBO and pay $151 a month. I was coming from fios and negotiated them down.

I have fios.
We have 3 boxes, all have DVR use.
We have HBO and Showtime. We may have one other movie channel. We have access to everything that is on demand. I think we also have the faster speed internet. It's a promo offer of $156 (includes taxes and all those other random BS charges).
Overall, I'm happy with them but there are some things I find really annoying. The boxes always default to the FIos channel and their advertisements, not the last channel you were watching. It's not a big deal but it's stupid. Also, the customer service is exceptionally annoying. It takes pushing numbers like 12 times before you can get to a real person. And God forbid you are calling for technical help. Then you have to listen to a computer give you advice for half an hour that you have to try before you can actually speak to someone. It can seriously make you homicidal.

fios - $320 a month
We have tv, phone & internet. We have 5 boxes (2 are dvrs) we also have quantum internet, we have tons of channels hbo, show time, max, some sports package.
I like fios. I've been annoyed lately. My major issue is that they took The weather Channel away! I hate that it also goes back to fios1. Also it takes forever to get someone out to your house to fix something. Last month we had an issue and were without TV/phone/internet for over 2 days.
Seriously considering going to optimum even though I know it won't be better it's waaaay cheaper.

FIOS Triple play. Quantum internet, with Extreme TV. 1 DVR, 1 Set top box. HBO and Showtime included. $115/month (sorry, don't know total with taxes, but that cost doesn't include equipment, so I'd say we're close to about $140/month after all is said and done).

i have fios, cable/phone/internet. Internet is 25/25. I do not have any extra packages on TV other than the Select TV. I have 1 DVR + 1 Regular HD Box.
i am paying 35 dollars + tax every month.
I negotiated with them and got them to go down.
My monthly is about 55.

Yes that includes all taxes it was a special intro rate for 1 yr, we also were referred by a friend so it takes $10 off for 10 months. I think after 1 yr it goes up like 25 bucks but it's still cheaper than what I paid with cablevision.
I also like the boxes from directv, they have YouTube and pandora now right on the tv

Just here to say.. I so miss these prices..
I'd die for ANY of them!
DirecTV here in SA is about $125 for basic - no premium channels before tax and its the best rate out there. 1 HD DVR box. ONE!
Time Warner starts around $160
ATT Uverse is around $150
That's before you add the internet
ATT is around $80
We have no phone hahaha
I warned my hubby how high the rates are here and he nearly fell over the first few bills (after the deposit and service charges of course).
I did however negotiate my AT&T to $45 and my DirecTV is currently at $90

We have FIOS. 3 boxes, DVR, all premium channels (HBO,showtime,stars,cinemax, etc), a sports package (not sure which) and phone and internet and pay $138 including tax. Strangely enough, last year we had less service and paid more about $170. My DH negotiated it down. Makes no sense to me, but I'm not complaining!

Good luck. We called optimum to negotiate befoee we cancelled and they wouldnt work with us. Now we get an offer in the mail 2x/week to come bank for the intro rate of $85 for the triple play

You can change this in your settings.

You have to change the settings to not let it go to FIOS1 when you turn it back on.
Other things to possibly avoid a service call, reboot the headend (not the modem)
Love FIOS, will never go back to Cablevision ever.
For 160 we get 1 DVR, 1 SD Box and 1 Cable for watching on 3 computers. Quatmam internet speed is a waste especially if everything you do is wireless, you will never get that speed. I think 25/25 fulfills most everyday needs. Exterme TV package gets you HBO/Showtime as well.

Just got off the phone with them and my bill went from 330 to 257 and they threw in an hd DVR box for 2 years for free! Looks like I'll be staying with Verizon.

We were paying over $200 with Cablevision for everything. Switched a few months ago to direct tv for 70/month. We have optimum internet for $60/month and we got magic jack for our landline so there is no monthly bill.
