How long did the renovations and the room face lifts take? Where did you get your bedding?

Thanks everyone! Looking back at the hundreds of pictures we took before, it's hard to believe it's the same place!! I'm very happy with how it came out... and after seeing Jess' pictures of the crown molding, I think that's next on my list!!!! LOL

Our bedding was from BB&B or LNT, can't remember which one, but I think it was BB&B...
Thanks! I fell in love with the backsplash and so did DH. We took a half wall down to make the island and it was the best decision we ever made!
The kitchen was the major project b/c we totally gutted it and were all working full time at our real jobs, so it was after work during the week and weekends for about 5 weeks... we took down a wall, redid plumbing, etc., had to wait for the granite template,, so it was complicated...
The wood floors in the ENTIRE apartment were refinished in 2 days before we moved in... the old owners had put concrete on top of the wood before they put peel and stick tiles down so it was disastrous - we never thought they'd be able to save them, but boy were we glad!
The previous owners were slobs. The bathrooms were biohazards. I used 3 bottles of Kaboom! on the tub to get it back to white!!!
Let's see, for total time of renovations, we moved our stuff in in June (before the kitchen was gutted! and before the rooms were totally painted) and had the holidays at our house, so we were all settled with our furniture, etc. by then...

I think your house was nice before but omg---it is so flipping gorgeous now!!!!!
You guys must feel such a sense pf accomplishement....I wish I had a relative in construction......
Question....so does Kaboom really work? Because if it does, I am so getting a bottle.....I've been tempted to for years but now I'm really interested!
