Before I go bugging my Ped on his day off
Lukie has had a cough for about 5 days now. Nothing productive, although it sounds as if it wants to be. Nothing in his lungs... now to my question. THis morning his eye was closed shut because of i guess boogies. Is that a sign of a sinus infection?

Re: Before I go bugging my Ped on his day off
Could be, or could be unrelated. When I was younger, I had pink eye A LOT and we always knew when I woke up and my eye was closed with eye junk.
ETA: I found that this came from rubbing my eyes. Happened a few non pink eye times too when my eyes were watery and bothered me or if I had something in one and I had been rubbing it...or rubbing it from pink eye.

Ok, pink eye. It isn't red, I haven't brought him to the stores or anyplace lately. No one else has pink eye in the fam. Whats the incubation?

Re: Before I go bugging my Ped on his day off
I edited my above post after I saw some one else post probably just watery eyes. My first thought was pink eye, but then I remembered there were a few times I got that from rubbing without pink eye.
But if your curious: The most common signs and symptoms of pink eye include:
Redness in one or both eyes Itchiness in one or both eyes Blurred vision and sensitivity to light A gritty feeling in one or both eyes A discharge in one or both eyes that forms a crust during the night Tearing
Exposure to an allergen for allergic conjunctivitis is a risk factor, as is exposure to someone infected with the viral or bacterial form of conjunctivitis. Both viral and bacterial conjunctivitis are common among children and are very contagious. Someone with conjunctivitis may be contagious for seven to 14 days after signs and symptoms first appear.
