my husband and i went to behr's yesterday and i wasn't impressed.. i didn't really care for any of the sets and i thought they were a little overpriced.
any other recommendations for baby furniture?

there is bellini, but you could also always just check out regular furniture stores - Raymore & Flannagan, Macy's, etc.

funny you say that b/c we were in raymour yesterday looking for a new bed and i asked if they sold baby furniture. the guy said they tried it a while back, but it never really picked up so they stopped.

I went looking 2 weeks ago. I found 1 set I liked at Behr's which was in my price range. I thought I would find more. I also found 1 at buybuybaby int he same price range. I looked at Babiesrus and found one too. Now I'm researching wood types and driving myself crazy. So stressful. I'll prob order around 24 weeks and when I get it I get it. There doesn't seem to be many other places for baby furniture. Some people get it from JCPenny but I haven't looked there yet. GL

If you don't have the baby bargains book, get it, it helped incredibly with regards to narrowing down what brands we looked at.

you're right, they're aren't many places.
i saw one set at behr's that was ok, but i didn't love it. there is one set at bbb that i do like and i need to show my husband. i didn't like anything at all at bru.
my options are limited too b/c i want a light gray set.
i guess i just thought there would be more places to look.

I have last years version (2012) and read it through. I'm still confused! HA. What were their top pics for mid range stuff this year (2013)? My friend has awesome Romina furniture that I saw in her nursery the other day from Behrs- but it was 1000's of dollars. I'm more worried about the wood and it lasting.

Pick up the 2014 version, it's worth the $15 on amazon!!!! We were able to narrow down the items we wanted before we even set foot in the stores.

Mine is the 10th edition copyright 2014... but it looks like the same cover and same edition. 10th edition. it has a number of items that were not released until the 2014 product release time.

That sucks, that's why I do everything via Amazon - we have the prime, might as well use it! I even used it to pre-order What to Expect the First Year new edition coming out in Sept/Oct for cheap!
