Skinny is one thing...the woman in that picture is in a whole other category.
I don't doubt the person in the beach photo is real - but I can't imagine the actual photo is real. I just don't see an anorexic lounging on the beach like that.

There are some ladies that are proud of their skinniness. I saw on a show once, that there's a website where skinny-minnys post their bony figures on a website.... the bonier the better... I'm trying to look for it. I think it's disgusting & completely unhealthy.

i know what you're talking about!
my friend used to be obsessed with losing weight and stuff and she would visit those sites by anorexic girls and it made her feel better and more confortable.... like she had other people that felt the same way as she did.
(let it be known that my friend was never anorexic, i guess she was just crazy and wanted to be or something)

true...and that is my point...skinny girls are VERY different then anorexic girls!

I believe there is a website in which anorexic women post pics of themselves. I heard about it on the Howard Stern show. I forget the name of the website, though.

B/c for most - if not all - anorexic's they are NEVER "skinny" enough. They could be down to 85 pounds and they still see themselves as "fat". They never look in the mirror and think they look good - they always see an imperfection...that's what drives the disease.

they wouldn't be because they NEVER feel comfortable...they NEVER reach that desired look that they think they want...
They are embarrased by their bodies....even as skinny as that picture they STILL think they are fat!
