anorectics do not love their bodies. They are never satisfied with the way they look and view themselves as fat no matter what. They have a distorted body image. They usually hide behind baggy clothing, and would not lie out on the beach like that.

Just IMO from reading this I think that a person that really has no obsessive issues with their bodies would not love a super thin body. But maybe anorexic people do feel like the thinner the body the better they look and maybe even love their bodies.

I have heard about these websites too. However, I don't think that the girls who post on these websites meet the diagnositic criteria for anorexia. There is more to being anorexic than simply wanting to be thin.

It is very likely that girls post on these websites b/c they want confirmation from others that what they are doing is okay, as most people in their lives are telling them that it is wrong. It doesn't mean they are really proud of their bodies.

Pro-ana or Pro-mia sites aren't exactly about self-love - it's more about self-loathing.
An actual anorexic does NOT love themself - they are never happy with what they see.
Some arse who thinks it's the latest fad to be pro-ana is not the same as an anorexic. That's just some dumb arse who thinks it's cool to be "skinny".
Anorexia is a disease of the mind - there is no clarity in their thought and the only thing on their mind is to get rid of their "fat". They could weigh 60 pounds - it's NEVER skinny enough.
