I love the fall & being outside when it's crisp/chilly/etc. I think as long as it's 50s or higher and during the day will be fine for kids. DD's 1bday is at a park, outside toward the end of sept and I really hope we have nice weather!!

As a resident of the area you are planning to have the party in - it's so beautiful up here on crisp fall days. That is seriously the best time of year to be outside.

LOVE it. It's my favorite season and I personally would rather chase DS around in a sweater I can take off than in the blistering heat, worrying about sunscreen.
I go to a friend's sons Bday party every year at the end of October and so far, I think everytime we have been outside for most of the party.

I would love it! Fall is my fav season. I would rather attend a party in the cool fall weather than sweltering July/August heat.

I had DD#1's 1st Birthday party completely outside under a tent on October 4th. I was ready for anything! I think my grandparents were smiling down on us because it was 70 degrees and sunny that day!    I would be fine celebrating outside for a party when it is around 50 degrees and the kids would love it too!

I got married on OCtober 21,it was mid 70's and gorgeous. I would def plan something outside bc even hi 50's is nice and good for the kids..but I would have indoor options just in case

You can totally do it. We live upstate and have my niece's apple picking birthday here every year in October. Everyone goes apple picking together and then we hide little pumpkins all over the place for the kids to find. Its about 60 people mostly outside and everyone has a ball.
