I think it's so amazing that she did that and that she is aware that her act of kindness will help so many people. You should be very, VERY proud of her (as you obviously are!) She looks adorable with her new haircut, too!

I just got the goosebumps...that is such an amazing thing to do  and for her to understand it at such a young age
I can't believe how long her hair had gotten!! 
And she looks even more beautiful (if that is possible) after!!!

Wow...I have tears. Thank you so much for all the wonderful things you all said. I want to instill and encourage her to change the world, and wasn't sure if she would "get" it yet.
But man, she does and it makes me smile.
She was so excited and so happy "to give her hair to boys and girls that need it" and it amazed me what affect her one small action had just in going to the post office and seeing how people reacted there.
I am honored to be her mommy
