best baby shower games
I know your answer...NONE 
But SIL and I have been enlisted to organize a few games /prizes for other SIL's baby shower. Can you suggest your fav/most creative games? I do NOT want to do bingo!

Melt different candy bars in diapers and have people on teams try to figure out which candy bar their team has.

I am not a fan, but I remember seeing on here that guests were given a white onesie and fabric paint or markers and decorated the onesie for the baby. I would enjoy doing that at a shower.

I like both of the above ideas.
I went to a shower recently and she had a game where you had to match the type of candy to the baby related term and a word scramble of baby gear.
It was actually pretty hard and thought provoking, especially with all the new "stuff" on the market for babies now.
The winners won scratch-off tickets and the candy when they figured it out.

I went to a baby shower once where they had tons of scrap booking supplies. Everyone chose a letter of the alphabet and made a page with stuff starting with that letter. Afterwards, all the pages were put in a book for the mommy to be. It was a lot of fun!

My BF's sister did one that was cute:
Name that baby food!
She peeled off the labels of basic baby food jars (ie applesauce, pears, carrots, peas, etc. I think she used 6 types) and she number coded it for each one at each table!
Then everyone had to guess what baby food it was. The one with the most correct was the winner! It was harder than I thought!
And the mommy-to-be got to keep the babyfood in the end!

We made up a sheet of trivia about the mommy to be and daddy to be and had every try to guess who the fact was about. It was funny because one was I took dance lessons and one was I took karate but the karate was for the SIL and dance was for the BIL 
Also we had the restaurant put four jars of baby food on silver trays with covers and had SIL, MIL and her mom each do a blind tasting (we removed the labels). Tjey tried, 1 fruit, 1 veg, 1 meat and one random (mac and cheese) and had to try to guess which was which. It was so funny and ended with MIL running out of the room to spit out the mac and cheese!!
We also did a basket poem and as the last gift gave SIL lingerie to use when they're ready for baby #2
And we did a celebrity and baby matching game, word scramble and of course the timer game.

i just went to a baby shower on sunday. here are the games i remember
spell the mommy to be first and last name. using those letters try to figure out what boy names she would like to name her son. shiiit was hard but fun.
they had a cp(fav animals of the mommy to be) that someone was walking around with to show off. turns out it was a freakin memory game.
oh while she was opening her gifts they had music playing once the music stopped whos ever gift she was opening got a scratch off.

the only two games that have gone over well, lately have been:
animal babies:
on one side of the paper are animals (dog, cat, rabbit) on the other side are baby animals (puppy, kitten, bunny). you have to match them. once you get into other animals (non pets), it gets hard.
name meanings:
on one side of the paper is the list of all the guests (works for small showers). on the other side is a brief description of the meaning of the name... like in baby name books. when we did it, we included the baby's name also, since it had already been chosen.
i'm loving the list being put together, here... great games

My favorite is "say the word *baby*"
As guests walk in they each get a ribbon.
The minute the shower starts, til the very end when you hear anyone in the room say "BABY", go up to them and steal their ribbon.
Person with most ribbons at the end wins a prize!
So much fun!

At the last shower I went to, each guest was handed a small bag with pink playdough in it. We each had to make a baby out of playdough and they picked a winner for the cutest baby. It was silly, but we actually had fun doing it.

I just went to a baby shower this weekend and we played this game... it was a great time... we were all trying to trick eachother into saying baby. we had fun with it!
Another game is "guess the size of the mommy's belly" You take a ribbon and you cut it at the size you think the mommys belly is. Whoever is the closest wins. I actually guessed the exact size!!!!!

the recent shower i went to they played like ten games..
they made these little cinamon bun things out of felt (took pink / brown strips and rolled them up, pinned them) and some of them had a strip of paper in it that said "bun in the oven..winner". I think they had 3 winners and gave out prizes. I won a little shark vacuum.
then they made people take our their keys and who ever had the most keys got a prize.
there were scratch off lotto cards.
filled a baby bottle with little jelly beans and you had to guess how many candies there were.
at my aunts showers they took baby food jars, ripped the labels off and you had to guess what baby food flavor it was. considering all the concoctions out there now..that might be a good stumper.
