best deep dish in chicago??
going there soon...where is the best place for a good deep dish??

I don't know where the best is, but we went to Gino's East and I wasn't thrilled.

We didn't try Gino's but we did try Lou Malnati's and I was not impressed with their deep dish either. Very bland.

I'm suprised to hear that, especially since they won Throwdown. I always wanted to try it if I ever go to Chi-town.

I was told the best deep dish in chicago was at Bella Bacino's and I did eat there twice when I was there in March, it was pretty good.
I would recommend eating at Aria in the Fairmont Hotel. Asian fusion, delicious. Top Chef Bev's restaurant (well, she didn't win, but it was great to try some of her dishes she did on the show).
ETA: Purple Pig is also good for small plates and wine. And Girl and the Goat. And Carmine's for good Chicago Italian. Really great food in Chicago.
