Best family beach vacation
My sister is looking to plan a trip with her family, she has 3 small children. They want to go somewhere for a week this summer, in driving distance and rent a house, on a beach or lake... or very close to a beach/ lake. Any recommendations? She was was told to look into Rehoboth or Bethany Beach, Delaware. Anywhere else? Anyone go there with kids? Thanks!

Ocean City, NJ is great!
We were there last October for Columbus day. It was so warm we were able to be on the beach. Loved it! would definitely go back!

We stayed at the Resort at Goose Rocks. The unit was brand new, clean and equipped with everything we could want. There was a brand new washer and dryer (in unit), even a lobster pot in the kitchen. The place had both and indoor and outdoor pool and a playground. The beach was right down the road and Kennebunkport was a 10 min. drive. We will definitely be going back!
