Best favor your preschooler has received at a party
What would you say the best favor you have received at a party. Looking for ideas for DDs 5th bday party. Its going to be a cupcake making party, so I don't want to make it another edible treat.

I always go with a theme and include a craft. My attendees always comment after the fact how cute the craft was. I use oriental trading.

this may sound really dumb (and it probably is) ......but what about a little indoor plant? that they can take care of and watch grow?

I was looking at that today! I have a melissa and doug "hook up", so it would be really affordable. I just wasn't sure if it would be a little over their age level. kwim.

I gave out the Melissa and Doug paint your own train and that was a huge hit.
Other great favors we have received:
large flashlight
big football
mini apron (might be good for your theme)

I think it's perfect for five year olds. I had a party at a plaster painting place when I turned 5.

I would definitely do this then if you have a M & D hookup!! These are adorable, fit the theme, and would be perfect for the ages! My DD went to a party at a plaster place when she was 3.5 and loved it.

This is really cute. Last year I did a cupcake decorating party for DD & I gave out cute aprons. I had wanted to personalize them with fabric markers or something, but ran out of time. Everyone loved the aprons.

Aprons!!! My MIL bought DC aprons bc they like to help her cook. They look adorable in them and always want to wear them at her house.

Might not go with your theme - but DS got a froggy kickball at a party and he uses it every time he goes outside or to the park!

My ds once got a $5.00 gift card to barnes and Nobel as a birthday party favor! I enjoyed it too because he wasn't getting something that would end up in the garbage!
