Best favor received at a bridal shower?
What was the best favor you have received at a bridal shower?
I am starting to plan my SIL's shower and I am looking or ideas. (I don't have a theme yet)

Anything edible! Cupcakes, cookies, coffee, chocolate...can't go wrong with stuff like that.

I like getting things I can really use. We've gotten a coffee scooper, measuring spoons, ice cream scooper, coasters. I love these sort of things b/c you can get good use out of them. For my aunts surprise 60th bday party...they gave out pasta spoon holders (for the stove top) as party favors. I thought that was a great idea!
And I also agree with the AP's...anything edible is always a big hit

Ive gotten platters that are very useful and a spoon rest. It was a neutral color so it went with everyone's kitchen. We gave those out at my friends shower. If you want info on where we purchased them from let me know.

Can I say I think mine was the best?
My mom did a tea party and the favors were tea-cups and saucer with a teabag and spoon , they were so cute and all collected from little antique shops :)

I don't know that it was the best, but i liked it.
At mine we gave out clusters of the cute little mini pumpkins (my shower was beginning of october) with mini bow ties and veils pinned to them
Everyone just took the accessories off them and used them for fall decoration after

Anything Lenox. My bridal shower the centerpieces were vases and let me tell you people actually fought to win them. The favor was the coordinating candy dish.

Pashmina wraps were given at one of my showers, they were in the wedding colors and beautiful!
ETA: I ended up with 3 showers due to location and stuff.
Favor #1- personalized wine glasses filled with hershey kisses, wrapped up pretty with ribbons
Favor #2- Pashimna wraps
Favor #3- luggage tags in the shape of flip flops

At my shower, they gave out the little anti-bacterial hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works in all different scents. I'm obsessed with that place, so I loved it, and it was definitely a useful favor.

i just hosted a shower and gave the guests a glass vase with flowers. it had a ribbon tied with a favor tag but you can take it off. the girls all really liked them & it doubled as decor!
got the vases at dollar tree- youd NEVEr be able to tell though!!

My cousin's fiance's shower, my aunt collected recipes from all the guests a few weeks prior to the shower. At the shower, she made a disc for all the guests as a recipe "book" and also included a little pot of lip gloss and a luggage tag that was personalized and used as seating cards too. It was nice because it was all usable things. For the game prizes, they gave out those hooks that hold your purse so it doesn't have to lay on the floor at a restaurant. I have seen them at BBB.
