Wow, I'll have to jump on the bandwagon and say definitely the year I got my Cabbage Patch Kid. I think every little girl remembers the shape of the wrapped box under the tree.
I also remember the year I got my bike. I had finished opening all my gifts when suddenly I see my stepfather walking into our den through the sliding glass door with a bike with a big red bow on it. That was exciting, too.
ETA: Don, we didn't hear your story. You heard all the girls and their Cabbage Patch Kid stories, what was yours?
