I agree! we compare every vacation we go on to that one and it never even comes close to stacking up. We stayed in the Sandals St Lucia Grande

We went on a cruise to Bermuda.
Best part was it was so easy, since it left from NY.
Also, there's no poverty on this island so it was complete opposite of our experience from when we went to the DR.
I never recommend to anyone to go there. We feared for our lives from the time we landed at the airport getting hit up for money, and they drive all over the roads into oncoming traffic, on the way to the resort.
DH also got sick there and the resort was old and run-down..........nothing like was advertised.

I'm sorry to those that didn't have a good experience in Antigua. DH and I went to Sandals for our HM and had a great time. The service was good, the resort was clean, no bugs, etc. I wouldn't say every detail was perfect but we would go back in a heartbeat!

DH and I spent 2 weeks in the Greek Islands. We went to Athens (2 nights), Santorini (5 nights) and Mykonos (4 nights). Perfect mix of sight seeing and relaxing. We had an amazing time.

We went to Italy and it was fantastic! We flew into Rome, spent few days there, rented a care and started driving north: Perugia, Florence, Verona and finally, having dropped o the car by the ferry we took across the water, Venice!
It was a really great, romantic get away with amazing food and scenery. We also made sure that while we saw most popular tourist destinations, we also visited places like Perugia that is not so big on the list but makes for an amazing destination!

The Four Seasons in Maui is my favorite place on earth.
We also spent part of our HM there, but I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. We got part of our HM refunded by the hotel because of how awful it was. I was so incredibly disappointed in this hotel.
I loved the Hotel Hanna Maui. We had a villa with a hot tub in the room. It was outstanding. I also loved the Mariott in Kauai. I loved Maui and Kauai, Hawaii and would absolutely recommend it as a honeymoon.

We stayed in the Sandals Halcyon and loved it - and though tit was great that we could eat at the other hotels. The excursions were great.

We went to Bora Bora. St Regis was magnificent! I'm glad we went because we will probably not be going back there for a long, long time. Once in a lifetime. The bungalow experience was awesome.

Same here, we loved it. Didn't really have any problems, service was great. And it was the most gorgeous beach I've ever seen (compared to DR, Mexico, St. Lucia, The Bahamas)
We just did Negril, Jamaica a few months ago and would recommend that as a HM destination, we loved it!
