Best Paint for Entry Door
We got a new front door.  Its a steel door with a half moon window. We want to paint it a brick red color to add some color to our home. 
Any suggestions for paint...or color.
Thanks. Any pics would be good too.

do a search through google. I did a search and i think on the HGTV network they said something about a special paint... also if you go to Aboffs, they will tell you what to buy and they are very helpful

If you didnt install the door yet, you can bring it to an auto body shop and they will paint it. My sister in law did this with her door and it looks really good.
We got a steel door, but we left it White. We didnt paint it at all

I believe there's a particular "outdoor" paint you need to use. Check with a local paint store, they should be able to help you with this.

My DH has an auto body business so he sprayed our door with car paint. Sorry I could not help you more, but even though the door is hung you can take it off the hinges and bring it to a body shop.

aboffs is having a 20% off paint sale this week i think!!
curious...did you find out what type of paint to use? we are thinking of painted so we dont have to buy new (for now)...

If they have a screen door it only takes one day to do it, car paint dries fast if you bake it which my DH did.
