Little Vincents in Ronkonkoma, hands down! Thin and crispy and not all doughy and cheesy! Its perfection. They are voted Best of Long Island, year after year.
A little unknown gem with to die for pizza - Nickys Clam Bar and Pizza on North Country Rd in Smithtown! The first time I had pizza there, I actually went back inside (you can eat outdoors) just to tell them it was the best pizza I had ever had. I have never done that before, ever.

In Plainview and Merrick. Some of the best Pizza I have EVER had.
As a side note. I grew up in brooklyn. There is a pizza place on Ave j and east 15th. it IS the best pizza in all of NYC.

Maybe try Marc Anthony's on Bayshore Rd. in Deer Park. I haven't tried it yet, but their Sayville location is good.

There is a place in Commack that is just delicious. I have no idea the name but my friend brings over a sicilan every other week and it is the best sicilian I have had. He is from Brooklyn and compares it to pizza he has had in Brooklyn.
ETA: It's Emilio's in Commack! Thanks to another poster that jogged my memory!

The only time I really like to eat pizza now is when we visit DH's parents in Queens. I alwyas ask to stop for pizza then!
There are no good ones around me, sadly enough.
I love Umberto's but its a little far for me to travel JUST for pizza.

I am a pizza snob...Colosseo in Port Jefferson Station is the best. When I lived in North Babylon, Pizziaola was a good substitute. I also like Ol Solomia in st. brook.
I lived in Nesconset and two blocks from Little Vincents and couldnt stomach it. Its the sauce. Too sweet for me.
Pizza sauce IMO should not be sweet.

The pizza place in Farmindale by the National Amusement move theater is pretty good too.
