best pregnancy weight gain chart!
I have been trying not to go overboard and let my appetite lead me, and all the weight gain charts I have seen made me think I have gained a lot less than I should have by now. However, this one is really accurate (only off by 2 lbs!) because it takes your height into consideration, which most of them don't. Now I feel completely normal.  Not like I cared because weighing less is never a bad thing, but still thought I would share.

ohmigod, I misread the chart at first and thought the weight column was cumulative and not for each week!! I thought I should only have gained 1.7 lbs by now and completely freaked out!!
Phew! Good thing I realized it was # of lbs gained each week.

LOL...me too. I was 130 at 20 weeks and the max says 130.55. Oh boy!!

according to that I am 8 lbs behind what I should be for the minimum row...Im only at the weight I should have been at about 26wks and I am 34 tomorrow...I am sure it is accurate though because my doc says im not really "packing on the pounds"

This chart says 35 pounds total is the max- it's bogus.
Im at the weight is says I should be for 34 weeks. Maybe Im just 10 weeks ahead? My doctor seems to think im fine

Sweet Jebus, thanks for this chart. It makes me feel like I'm gaining normally (though towards the max end of things). However, I highly doubt that I'll gain only 35 lbs. with this pregnancy. My realistic estimate is more like 40 lbs.

I'm over the maximum weight by one pound for 40 weeks. I'm 31 weeks tomorrow...what are the chances that I can lose 7 pounds in the next 2 months?

I'm trying not to worry too much about this b/c I know this is going to be a 40-50lb gain. I haven't weighed myself since my last appt. but know I was up 15lbs at 19wks - not good. Oh well.

I exceeded the maximum by 30 pounds by the end of my pregnancy. I should have been 150...I was 180!

Okay I am fired. I thought it would help a lot because it asks your height. ALL the other charts out there say I should weigh a lot more, but this one didn't, so I thought it was more accurate. Didn't mean to send PGs onto the window ledge.

The chart says i am at the max for 30 weeks. My dr actually said I should at this point have gained a little more. Thanks for trying to help! I think most of us would like to see one that says we should weigh more then less!!!!
