Best vacuum on tile
I have a Hoover. Feel like I've had it forever. Can't even tell you which one. The good is that it's good for tile and carpet, but I feel like on tile it never picks up enough. I wind up on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor under the kitchen table and against the wall and finding tons of crumbs the vacuum didn't pick up. Any ideas for a great vacuum on tile floors?
Thanks!

Best vacuum on tile
Personally, I wouldn't use my vacuum on tile, I would sweep, swiffer dry, then mop.

I do that all too, but figured I'd ask for a good vacuum to at least cut something out. Ugh! I'm a nut! LOL

Re: Best vacuum on tile
I don't find any vacuum to do a good job on tile, but we use our dustbuster for crumbs. It tends to pick up more than a vacuum, which just blows the crumbs around.

Best vacuum on tile
I use my Electolux canister on the tile and it works fine. I can adjust the suction as needed.

I have a Miele canister vacuum and it works well on tile. It allows you to adjust the suction based on the surface. It has different attachments or tile/wood and carpet.

Re: Best vacuum on tile
We have our Dyson ball now for 10 years and it still works great. It has the floor attachment so I unlock the wand and use that. If I just used it like I was vacuuming the carpets and turned the brushes off, it would barely pick things up.

Re: Best vacuum on tile
I use my electrolux canister on the all my floors. I will say Kenmore vacuums are much better, but I could never just swiffer my floors, it leaves so much behind. I also don't think that stand-up vacuums do a great job, especially on wood and tile. My vacuum picks up everything that does not require a mop!

Best vacuum on tile
We have the Dyson digital slim handheld for our tile and it works great. We have a steam mop for mopping.
