Try not to read into it. Depends how concentrated your urine was, last time you peed. Wait until morning and test again. When is your beta? That will be the real thing..and then again two days later that it doubles.

Time of day also makes a diff. Hcg levels are higher in the morning for most. Hang in there.

I had a horrible experience with a FRER this pregnancy. Beautiful progressing tests starting at 12dpo and then I decide to test at 16dpo and the freaking line was BARELY there like BFN but the wondfo was dark. I freaked and figured chemical. Waited until next day and line was darker than ever. It was a fluke test and apparently the dye varies a ton with the new FRERs. Try not to let it freak you out until you take another test and it is the same.

Yup this exactly..I have gotten dark lines with a beta of 10 and super light ones with a beta of 200+ so don't freak out.
