Re: Bethenny's Post-Mama Weight Loss bad for NY Women's Self Image?

I think she looks great and I attribute her weight loss to her healthy lifestyle.
That... and she was super tiny to begin with and stayed fairly small during her pregnancy.
Yes-I was not thin to begin with, gained 53 lbs during pregnancy and lost 30 by the end of my 5 days stay in the hospital...Its definitely possible tolose that quickly

Honestly, in both of my pregnancies I lost the weight very quickly (ahem, put it back on after DD, but we won't go there) so I don't think it is so abnormal for her to have lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks.

Re: Bethenny's Post-Mama Weight Loss bad for NY Women's Self Image?
who cares and what's the big deal?! I was tiny when I was pregnant even though I gained 35 lbs. I lost almost all of it within 3 weeks, it just came off. as we ALL know for some women it's very easy to lose the baby weight, for some it's not......

So stupid! I lost 32 lbs in 10 days, thats really not a lot of weight , especially for someone like her who eats so healthy to begin with.
He is an idiot!

I lost 25 pounds in the hospital - lots of women do. Granted, I gained 50 but this is just a silly attack. I have absolutely no expectations of being back in my pre-preggo clothes in a month just because Bethenny is.

I see what all of you are saying about losing weight quickly w/o really trying (even though it didn't happen for me). But, even losing all that weight did you look like that? Was your whole body toned and everything looking just the way it did before? Even the boobs? THIS is what I find hardest to b/v is attainable by the average real new mom and, yes, it does annoy me. And, I agree, at least Kendra is REAL.

And I never had that little belly most women have for few days/weeks after they give birth. My sister was the same way, even after she had her 2nd baby. she was back to her pre pregnancy body and size within 2-3 weeks with both her pregnancies.

To be frank, helll no!!
BUT you have to remember that she pretty much maintained her body right up until the end. You could see in her honeymoon pics that she was *just* belly - and her boobs are fake to begin with so they're going to retain their shape (at least that's my assumption since my itty bitty boobies are real).
Now if she got as big and flabby as I did/am and then 3 weeks later was all tight and toned perfection I would understand the snark (from Perez) because that would genuinely be unrealistic.

but she was super fit and toned before...the few friends I have that are super thin and in shape looked great within a few weeks of having their babies too..
I dont get it, so she should look like a slob or have evidence of the PG to what? Make others not feel so bad? why is that her responsibility?
This is so silly....
