Re: Better Business Bureau.. have you ever..
This summer we bought one of those inflatable pools from Island Recreational. We bring it home and go to set up and put in so much water just to find out it had a leak. It took us hours to empty. We tried to return it to them and they wouldnt take it back because it was OPENED! They were so rude and obnoxious. My husband got so mad at them .... and he almost never loses his temper.... and then the manager called all his employees over and told them not to even talk to this customer. The company who made the pool sent us a new one and after we filed with BBB Island Recreational reimbursed our money for the pool.

Me again..... to the girls that filed complaints... how long after you filed it did you hear back from BBB? Ballys called me today saying that my account would go to collections on the 1st of December and my blood is boiling.

It took about a month from NY's BBB, FL's BBB was within 2 weeks. The agency that moved quickly was the Federal Trade Commission.
Have you sent them a certified letter disputing it? I wouldn't speak to anyone from now on - only via written communication (which includes email). Once you have a dispute, you're going to need all of the backup for court.

Re: Better Business Bureau.. have you ever..
my dh did with gmac. he was getting harrasing phone calls and misleading letters about a payment he owed. it went on for over a year. he finally went on line and filed a complaint. bbb was a go between for gmac and dh. it turned out gmac was right and dh did owe the money. but gmac just never made it clear that they back bill.
it was very easy to deal with the problem once he went through BBB.
good luck.

I've sent two letters and I know they have both on file. I did a search today through my cell phone bills from June and highlighted all the calls to and from the azzhole manager at the facility so I can prove we spoke all these times. I've documented everything so far.
