BF for 2 yrs and AF has not returned

Asking for a friend.

Her son will be 2 in March, she EBF and never pumped, she is a SAHM so EBF was always easily accessible...

Now at almost 2 he BF's a lot less but still wants it in the morning..and sometimes other times in the day.

Her period has not returned--her ob gyn said she has never heard of this--so basically I am looking for anyone who has had this happen...

OB said she has follicles but her lining is very thin...

Anyone with similar experience please talk to me about how this might effect her having another child..thanks so much

I didnt BF but had twins in Oct 2011. I didnt get my period for months.... finally OB gave me something to bring it on. Period came back but I am still having issues. I go to OB tomorrow. Period has never been the same.
