Hi Sweety. I think a reg tylenol is better. Is it bc the baby is getting you up all the time? I co slept in the beginning had Olivia either in my arms OR in between my DH and I with the bobby that is how I got my sleep. You may have to try different techniques. I am really not sure about the tylenol PM i know reg or extra stregth tylenol is ok.
Feel free to FM and I hope you get sleep tonight

I would check with the ped to see what you can take. Try to relax and hopefully you will sleep better

I wouldn't take Tylenol PM. Have you tried something more natural for yourself? Maybe some chamomile tea to wind you down.

Yes, i tried that. I'll try it again.
It is me who can't sleep.
I actually slept at my mom's last night and had her take the baby, he had 1 night time feeding at 4:45 am.
I was up until 4:45 am and then tried again to sleep when he when down at 6 am.
I couldn't relax, my mind is racing.

You will learn to tune out the noise in your mind soon. In the beginning, it is overwhelming.
Try a nice warm bath, cup of tea and then a boring book in bed. You really need your rest. If none of this works, I'd consult your doctor. You can't be functioning well on no sleep & you need to sleep in order to produce a good milk supply.

Flame me if you want, I will say that I didn't BF, but I'd take it and pump and dump. Also, my BFF did BF and she took percocet after her section and still bfed.
YOU need to take care of you and you need sleep!

Re: BF Moms, I am really having a hard time sleeping
You sound like me. I'm a terrible sleeper! Honestly, I think we are like babies and just overtired. That's why we can't shut down. But I noticed once I got a good nights sleep then it came easier for me to fall asleep. I don't think I would take the tylenol Pm but I would try everything to get some sleep, even if that meant having baby sleep with you! I like the idea of using the boppy as the above poster said. I wish I would have done that!
