Before going back to work, I just pumped after the first morning nursing session to build a freezer supply. Now, I'm trying to pump 2-3 times per day at work. I'll also pump after work if DS had a bottle recently at daycare. I always pump for 15 minutes.

How often you pump really deals with a lot of factors. Before I went back to work I would try to pump an extra two times per day (Usually first thing in the morning and after he went to sleep at night, or even during the overnight in the first 2 months.) But it all depends on whether you are still building a supply, if you're trying to build a freezer supply, or just pumping to get a break from a feeding or two here or there.
Whenever I pumped, I did it for 10 minutes, both sides at once.
