BF Mom's...Did you notice leaking before your milk came in?

According to most books and websites they say you should begin to leak colustrum around week 20....

Nothing yet, and I was just curious if this is a sign that my milk wont come in.

Also, does anyone know if family history has anything to do with it? My mom was not able to breastfeed b/c her milk never came in either...

I never leaked when I was pregnant and BF my son for 14 months.

Some women leak before, some don't- either one is normal and it doesn't mean you won't be able to breastfeed. I never leaked before, and my mom had trouble breastfeeding, and I breastfed for a year.

I never leaked although if I squeezed I saw a tiny bit of clear fluid come out at 20-something weeks. I am successfully BFing now, and have plenty of milk for DS.

I also didn't leak during my first pregnancy and was able to breastfeed without supplementing.

I'm now 31 weeks in my second pregnancy and no leaking this time either.
