BF'ing moms? how often do you pump?

and how much do you get in one pumping session? i've only been doing this for almost 3 weeks and try to pump a couple of times per day usually about 2 oz per pump session? thanks

Hi, I've been pumping from the beginning (only nursing once a day or so) & I started off getting 2 oz. per session if I was lucky; I now get between 6-10 oz. a session (But know too DD is drinking 6 oz. per feeding). I used to pump every 3-4 hours but now I'm down to 3-4x a day. Don't give up, around 5-6 weeks my supply really came in. Definitely eat oatmeal and the herb fenugreek will also increase your supply. Drink LOTS of fluids.

I pump more than I BFing now.

I pump 4-6 times per day (depending on how often I BF).

I usually pump 25-30 oz per day.

Plus, I BF at night if DS wakes up. I also BFing DS in early morning (4am) and for a few minutes before he goes to sleep.

ETA: I used to pump about 3-4 oz when I started pumping.

I was only getting about 2oz per boob, on a good day. Most of the time I pumped both into one bottle and hoped for a total of 3oz. But I was typically only pumping during the middle of the night. Now that he's eating more (he just turned 2 months) I am pumping more. I just went back to work and recently started pumping about 3-4 oz per boob every 3 hours. Hope this helps.

I would pump after I BF DS and at first I would only get an ounce or so from each boob. It gradually went up and I always had enough milk to feed Ds and pump enough for bottles when I worked- only part time.

I breastfed with the hopes my DD would take a bottle. With that said, for over a year all I ever got 3x a day was 2oz. each side each session.

I nurse most of the time and pump about once or twice when we give DS a bottle and I usually get about 5 oz. from my right breast in about 15 minutes of pumping and about 3-4 from my left ( uncooperative bb).
